"Whether"(sic) forecast: jockeys object to going after 4th,agree to run 1 more, and call it a day after 5th.......hell I've become such a cynic!

Tommy I was at a sale(I think Nationals) we were all well lubed as per the norm - A Tiger Ridge walks into the ring and I remember an instant buzz - We all looked at the horse and a collective "WOW" . He throws a fine specimen and now we see they can run.

Guys you really think it was pure coincidence that the Jockeys timed it to perfection for Lunatic Fringe to just pip Govenor General? Once they finished playing with Govenor General in the Maidens it will win a few in a row, untill then there is more value in the business of coming 2nd I'd say.and Felini I would not be too confident on Ginger Hill

I don't normally get excited about feature races in KZN, much less a novice plate on a wet Scottsville course, but this horse impressed me.
National Emperor is a magnificent beast and I'm sure it will pay us all to follow him in the coming months.
Good luck to the connections
