On the Kimberley thread today, I said R8 Spanish Armada was a decent place bet at 4/1 in the betting.
Final result - 1st, 2nd 3rd horses ALL 33/10

winner pays R2,00 2nd horse R 2.30 MY HORSE - 3rd horse R 1.00 !!!!!!!

At the off this horse was showing R2.10 a place - in line with the other 2 fancied runners.

My bookie was showing 11/20 a place which I did NOT take...... in hind sight I should have.

BOOKMAKERS HERE I COME........... I can't take this cr@p anymore... don't believe what was in TODAYS CITIZEN ABOUT STEPS BEING TAKEN TO SORT OUT THE TOTE DISCREPANCIES.......... a load of hogwash!!

I have an even better idea - dont bet on the shlop for racing before the met. The Greyville card has to be one of the worst I've seen, the others are not to far behind. Expect carryovers for the Met - Yes please.

zoro i had my koi pond half full (cleaning) this morning it's almost full and the roads here are blocked in certain areas as there is so much water around!! The guy next door to me has asked if he could "borrow" a pair of my fish,birds,and dogs for the "boat" he's busy building!!!

I had a chance first time now to have a look at the tote payouts..race 2 Arlington..12/1 shot pays R1.50 a place and 4/1 shot pays R1.80 a place

Duh!!!
