Obviously,he's realized there's an easier way than working for a living, you can move to Oz and put your bets on after you know the result of the race!

I see the press release says' Consideration will be given to a new appointment in due course,'implying that this is another play from left field that PGE never had a clue was coming.

What happened to the captain staying with his sinking ship. This looks like a perfect example of the captain tranferring before the inevitable happens.Maybe I'm just a fatalist when it comes to PGE,but this is not a good sign.

Who will follow next, I suspect a few more to leave. I doubt whether P did not see this coming. This may just be part of a bigger plan. Visa's and offers of employment dont just happen overnight.

PHUMELELA MEDIA RELEASE
SUBJECT: Phumelela’s South African CEO joins Tabcorp
DATE: Thursday 28 January
RELEASED BY: Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited

David Attenborough, CEO Phumelela (South Africa), has resigned and will leave at the end of April to take up the position of managing director of the wagering division of Tabcorp Holdings, Australia’s leading gambling entertainment group.
Phumelela Group CEO Rian du Plessis said he wished Attenborough and his family all of the very best for their future in Australia.
“David has worked for Phumelela for the last six and half years and I would like to thank him for his hard work and valued contribution to our business. Phumelela has a very strong working relationship with Tabcorp and I look forward to working with David in his new role,” Du Plessis said.
He added that consideration would be given to Attenborough’s replacement in due course.
Attenborough said: “I am privileged to have worked for Phumelela and South African horseracing for the last six years. I am moving on with a deal of sadness, but simultaneously I am excited about the challenges of my new post at Tabcorp.”

Rather strange and coincidental, that the Aussies get blamed for depleting SA Tab payouts,

..and now we have Phumelela's CEO quiting,to move to Australia to take over the "Wagering" division.

Will there be any cash left to cover "local" winning tickets?

Getting out before the shit hits the fan ????.

But then again, if we look at our political leaders, who take what they can, while they can, who is to blame for getting caught up in this downward spiral, where things are no longer what they appear to be...a very sad and depressing thought....just shows what politics can do

Here's hoping that 2010 World Cup will breed new life and change for the better into this beautiful country.

He cannot go yet..
I have 2 issues to resolve with him.

1. He approved me building a bookmakers stall in the WINNERS pub on the 1st floor Turfontein as long as it was the same wood as the tote setup.

Well we did.
Then when were done, he colluded with the Jew boys and stuck me with a knife in the back.
Were told that my license was not approved.
He, goba and the Jew boys signed a petition preventing the gambling board to issue my license as I was friends with Derek Bruggman at the time and were going to display his website (betting site) on the wall.

So for 18 months they schemed me.
As if I was worried.
Were busy with other more important business ventures.

However, Clive Dunbar and staff were trained on the new Turfsport package, which the gambling board insisted we used.
Expectations were created with Clive and staff, but DAVE ATTENBOROUGH did not care.
The money I spend sending Clive and co to Capetown, Flights, Hotel, Training etc, did not worry this lot at all.
Spend in total > R300k over the 18 months.
Did not loose any money, as I could write if off on tax.

so..When you frequent the WINNERS BAR, notice that the stall is now occupied by his former mates.

But don’t fret..
I see some of the co conspirators are bankrupt, some died, some lost the marbles and gone mad..

Seems that life does not endure injustice.
