Appy suspended for 1 year

To get suspended for a year having a "babbalas"...that's absurd! Hope he appeals. All of us had a babbie at least once i'm sure especially when young and before work...

I remember i used to dj and got pissed and when i left by 5am i had to play cricket at 10am with a huge babbie and usually did better than when i had a good night's rest...

Rad to be fair the I know a former top Jock that is now a trainer - he told me that he would NEVER ride work with a hangover as it made him slow and the horses picked up that he was not 100% and behaved badly. Remember the guys are also risking the lives of other jocks if they are still pissed - We've all done it but the regulator is 100% in testing the guys though the punishment and corrective measures may be out of place

RAD in Lukes case its more than a hangover, its a disease he has...Luke needs help BUT if he not 100% committed to a rehab program (not just three months) for the rest of his life then he will fail...

Sorry Greg didn't know he had previous problems...only realized after reading all the articles...well still deserves another chance but like you say serious rehab and someone taking him under their wings should do it...

What is more dangerous, taking alcohol or drugs to the extent that you could cause an accident in which someone gets hurt or killed, or actually taking action that results in someone getting hurt. Compare this sanction to Anton Marcus, a seasoned pro which should have known better and got 2 weeks. An absolute disgrace.
