They are now 30 minutes behind, so why not abandon the two 1400 races
and run the last three sprint races?

plus owners,they should have moved this meeting to clairwood considering the state of this camel track..the sooner it gets dumped the better..

pirates if they follow the Gauteng example they will dump Clairwood and make Scotsville the 'premier' track

By abandoning the 6th and 7th race, and running the 8th, the Jackpots are
still alive (as 2 legs must be run to be a bet), and the rakeoff is worth
R129,000 to them! Seems like a clever move to me.
I think common sense prevailed, as the problems seemed to be on the bend
and the back straight. Better to try to finish the meeting than just abandon
all the races.
