Scotia on the Week-end

Good morning to you all and we look forward to a rain free weekend to get to the races.

The plan is to have racing today from Fairview and a twilight meeting from Kenilworth and another trip to Dubai this evening.

I must say enjoyed racing last night from Meydan and well done to MDK and Bin Suroor for some great racing and victories. This evening should be much the same with the big guns batting it out in addition we have the Cumani/Fallon combination to add to the mix.

Presvis looks home and hosed

Shea could win the first for De Kock on Frosty Secret, Presvis should be past the post in the second, but a 3 horse race is always a concern? As far as the rest of the meeting its just a case of Cumani/MDK/Bin Suroor for training honours and Dettori/Soumillion/ Shea/Fallon fighting out jockey supremacy. Hope for a big run from Zirconeum.

Saturday we have the big T weather permitting and some good racing with the jackpot consisting of 3 grade 3 races and a listed handicap where MDK is again the man to follow.

Greyville on Saturday night and a trip to the Vaal on Sunday.

As far as overseas the big race at Doncaster will be the Blue Square handicap chase where the 5/1 shot Free World 2332-22 is due for a win and with Ruby in the saddle should be a solid e.w. punt.

Masterminded will be a banker for some at Cheltenham

Virtually no change in the ante post markets for Cheltenham and the talk and debate on the big clash continues.Cheltenham watch

On the footie side John Terry is getting more press than Chelsea and England combined.Terry plays away from home but with Valentines day looming we can think ourselves lucky.

Roses are red violets are blue, we buy one card, but Terry and Zuma have to buy a few.

On the rugby the Super 14 kicks off next weekend with the Crusaders 7/2 favs and the Bulls 11/2, look forward to some more words of wisdom form Garrick.

Hope you all have a great weekend and may your God be with you

Good punting
