MIKE de Kock unveils new recruit Blaze Of Fire (Kevin Shea) in a 1m handicap on Friday at Jebel Ali where the card features five thoroughbred races.

The four-year-old was formerly trained in France by Criquette Head-Maarek.

"He is a new horse and we are learning about him," said de Kock. "This looked a fair place to start him as he was guaranteed to get a run."

Rivals include Estihdaaf (Ali Rashid Al Raihe/Tadhg O'Shea) and Musleh (Erwan Charpy/Richard Hills), both of whom have Dubai Carnival aspirations, plus Ibn Al Nafis (Satish Seemar/Ryan Moore).

Unbeaten in two runs, connections will be hoping to make it three and attain a carnival mark in the process.

De Kock also saddles two in the 6f maiden, with Shea on Jodi, fifth in the UAE 1,000 Guineas trial.

Stable companion Boss Professor was second at Jebel Ali most recently but they face a stiff opponent in Al Wasl (Mubarak Bin Shafya/Willie Supple) who is considered carnival material.

Boss Professor chased home Numair (Doug Watson/Tadhg O'Shea) last time and he can boost the form in the 1m1f handicap in which Olympic City is arare runner from Oman.
