New Look, looks great

Scotia, the new look Phorum looks really great...visually appealing. Great stuff

Thanks observer although im sure there will be a few who dislike,this is just the most upto date version of the old Forum software and should enable us to add a few new features.

Hibs - I am sure the functionality will probably be vastly improved. I am just concerned that we may be moving away from a recognisable brand. The homepage and forum may be disjointed as the colour schemes differ. I am sure that you have it under control but I would preffered to see a clean completed relaunch of the site that did not coincide with the old site being down and a server move.

I hate to draw comparisons with the red site, but they are also powered by phorum. Is the choice of design yours to make or is this only what is available for download?

Please stop me if I am getting ahead of myself.

i prefered the old look

Al we were always powered by Phorum,the updates just lay waiting for me to implement them,this was not planned at all AL.

We were informed that the site was going down for 45 mins,with 15 minutes notice and 27 hours later we came back online as we are.The Tech team are still working on homepage and forum will hopefully have its identitiy back soon.


We have big plans for the site,but not sure if it`s worth all the hassle after the last few days?

Al i liked the look of the old forum/phorum,im sure it will take us a bit time to get used to this ?

my reason is the fonts are to large.

Hibs - just trying to be constructive. I do know that we were previously powered by phorum. I was just questioning whether the stock standard template is the way forward for ABC.

I am not sure that I understand whether this is a temporary site until issues are sorted out or whether this is a permanent change?

I am sure that new versions of Phorum have increased functionality and I hope that functionality and look go hand in hand. Dont be disillusioned by bumps in the road or commentary from elsewhere, the opinion of ABC's supporters should be on top of the agenda. Ignore everything else.
