Turffontein Guineas day and Kenilworth 27th feb

Bumper days racing saturday 21 races in total, although there is nine Maiden races on the cards, which i think spoils the BigT card a bit.

The Highlight for me tomorrow is the Guineas a wide open race, but one to look forward to and ive got a sneaky feeling the filly Gluwein will run well but the draw has not been kind.

MDK has six runners in the Fillies race, with Sidera looking to be a solid looking favourite, but don`t rule out Catherina Lady and @ 12/1 could be a bit value..

Over at Kenilworth Jaggermeister, if he stays the trip tomorrow is a runner and at 14/1 a handy price, although he`s not very well in,but if he improves for the trip could go well..

Goodluck and tip us some winners

Maiden plates are not always by any means the bottom of racing's barrel. They can be won by future stars and the one thing every horse on the planet has in common is that at some point every one was eligible for a maiden race. Even Sea The Stars and co.

Yes they do smack of fillers, but I will still be watching like a hawk. Or a bat, if my glasses break.

BTW, there were only supposed to be 4 MPs at Turffies tomorrow. One was split when a fillies hcp was canned because of insufficient runners. No 2 horse fields around these parts!

Robinson Crusoe for me, unless one of the Bass ou toppies decides to shift his butt. Diamond Quest can still win a race like that if he doesn't spend the race thinking about supper or something.
