As per a previous posting, Brendan Lerena was approached by Zaki and officially became the retained stable jockey this past Tuesday. He is being sponsored through the yard and is on a retainer. He will soon move up to JHB. No doubt with the stock Zaki has he needs a permanent jockey and couldn't have landed a better one at this stage.
