and in the process, you probably hit on some real truths, and this is what probably triggered the backlash.

Reading between the lines (actually there was no need to read between the lines), of issues that you, highlighted, of, how the game of racing can "potentially" be manipulated to the benefit of a few, it would appear that some posters responded accordingly as "guilty as charged"....
