Willie Supple the rifer of Ijaaz started pushing Soumillion and shouting at him in the change room and had to be pulled away by other jockeys. Supple believes that Soumillon on Musir caused interferance.

They probably showed it on TV in the UK, while we were watching Borrowdale Park...

Yes it's true, having worked with Soumillion and seen how arrogant he can be it was about time someone had a go at him. I would love to see him ride in SA for a few months, he would have more respect for his fellow jocks !

On talent, ability and confidence Soumillon is one of the best, if not the best jock in the world. I'm sure MDK would echo this...

....ride on Musir was pure talent....he knew exactly what he had and how to produce it....on the downside at the risk of getting shot by the ever loyal saffers....Robbie Fradd was bad on Rocket Man....lack of Dubai experence....:S

you're spot on there Muhtiman, what a brilliant ride on Musir, with all the traffic problems he had to go through, I thought he was a gonna.

I was not impressed with that ride on Rocket man... I thought he would have been a lot closer to the leader... & not let him get away. I thought R.M. was supposed to have good early toe... didn't look like it to me .

....looked like Fradd was reluctant to let R.M lead....then once he backed off the leader/s....pressed the button...only to have the horse follow the front runner/s....all his past races although against lesser horses.....R M powered out in front and if chased round the(sprint) bend was never headed... he just stepped it up ...on to the line....the track layout and surface similar to Singapore....should have been a formality....::o

Abolsutely....The ride Fradd gave RM was certainly not one of his best. Even if he didn't want to lead, when the American took the gap and Fradd shifted around the tiring horse he cost himself at least a length.....The winner had flown!
Fradd was very nervous throughout the race. Look at the replay and see how many times he looked back over his shoulder to get the horse postioned. He must have turned around at least 4 times before they had run 200m!!!!!

Anyway, hope the horse came out of the race sound and ready for his next mission!
