Just heard Stronghold passed on. He coliced and when the vet operated, found a rupture that could not be fixed and he unfortunately could not be saved.

I feel very sorry for Mick - the last while has been terrible, with the loss of Cataloochee as well.

Racing in South Africa has lost an astonishing amount of stallions recently

Condolences to all involved with this horse!

CATALOOCHEE was a real prospect as a sire of two-year-olds - not sure how many there are still to race but look like genuine speed horses - pity
