Vaal - Thursday
15 years 2 months ago
Looks a little difficult tomorrow and to add insult to injury I believe it is raining in Jhb?
For me Brett Webber will have a good day tomorrow. He could easily win 3 or 4 races!
My best bet would be Opening Night in the 7th. He has this field stone cold!!!
Happy punting!

They are definitely not racing on the turf. I believe they are inspecting the sand track to see if a switch is possible.

Now it's abandoned. The sooner this shitty summer ends, the better.

The man next door is still building his boat and buying pairs of animals so ........ - I offered him one of my horses but because it's a gelding he turned me down

By all reports,it appears the new weather patterns are here to stay and the scary bit is,whether we can expect our ignorant and arrogant controllers to make the necessary adjustments to keep racing going in prevailing conditions.
My guess is they will do nothing different, and hope nature comes around to their way of doing things!

In a country with an abundance of natural resourses and mining skills surely a sand drainage system that works could be implemented -
