Morning Bob we had a heavy down pour this morning in Pretoria not sure about the "Big Hole" but the sand could be wet.
Sure MDK says it was a great surface down there but not sure about the difference with the Vaal, but its easy on the horses.

Let's hope the bus doesn't get bogged down en route. Speaking of the weather, I'm sorry to say that the long range forecast for the weekend in Jhb is terrible, with plenty of rain predicted for both Saturday and Sunday.

Let's hope they are wrong, but one can only repeat that the authorities will need to have a serious rethink about the racing seasons in SA if this climate change is here to stay - as many experts believe it is. (td)
