Scotia have you been selling Phumelela shares

About 1 hour ago a single trade of 1 million Phumelela shares at yesterday's closing price. By my reckoning that is 1,3% of the entire shares in issue in a single deal. My guess is that there is some action on the way and is likely to be negative for the share price, based on sideways pattern of VPT, and RSI, SST and MACD technical indicators all turning down.

Bernard Kantor buying Phumelela shares again, 1,75m shares last Friday, over 2% of entire shares in issue. What would be more interesting is who the seller was as this was exceptional volume. Anyone know ?

There is a very interesting aspect to this and that is the fact that B Kantor now has a significant investment in one of the worst managed companies I have had to interact with.Kantor is a successful businessman who,by definition therefore, will be aware of the dangers of poor management,so I would expect some action, instigated by shareholder/s in the near future.
I have no problem with shareholders wanting and receiving a good return as this normally only results from satisfied customers.(I would give anything to be a SATISFIED customer). The exception of course is a monopolistic situation. However the basis for complaint,on the competitions board website, makes for interesting reading and "P" service levels make them a sitting duck.
I believe that shareholders will try to prevent new entrants by upping service levels. They could,of course, leave it too late- lets wait and see!

Rob

Mr Kantor has been a director of the company for some time so will be only too aware of the quality of management. I would think his interest in the shares would have more to do with property and potential property deals.

Another 1 million Phumelela shares changed hands in a single transaction this afternoon.

Spot on Oscar.
However I would imagine that Mr. Kantor has more brains than that, getting caught for insider trading.

Perhaps "P" is expanding its overseas product to Timbuctoo and this will have an effective influence on their Income statement?

I give up :D

Interesting to know who is disposing of that many shares.....is that not of great interest to all stakeholders?
