I think Basil is going to find out Singapore isn't as easy as he thought, but best of luck this weekend.

I doubt BM would have taken anything for granted. MDK has proved that Saffers can perform anywhere in the world, why should it be any different for BM? Was close to the top in SA so it follows that he should be close to the top any where in the world
Hotline is Vermiculite one of those runners this weekend?

I watched the trials of all 4 above mentioned horses on Marcus website
Here are my comments:
Trafalgar Legacy - Trialed well without being asked. Ran on nicely. Should need more time
African Rainbow - I think he will need at least two runs, but trialled ok
Trebes - Ran the best trial of the 4. Ran on real strong and strode out well. I believe it is BM's best chance for a win/place
Polished Steel - Remember him being a super front runner in SA. He trialed well. Hope he runs well.
You can watch the trials on Basil Marcus' website.

how is that for transparency and major assistance for punters ,no wonder the stakes are massive in hong kong and singapore...maybe if our palukas here would wake up before its to late and followed we could close the gap on cost of horse to stakes...but then again lets just blame the open bet its far easier...the mediocrity continues
