I would love to see the photo finish of the last race in my opinion there is no way that Indigo Violet won the race

Very impressive 1st rce winner.
Siberian Tiger seems unaffected by MR increases. 7 time winner in 10 Months and not even rated 80

A little "insider info" logic and if you apply it you will narrow down the lurking outsiders MANY times:
To do this a little test for you: Check the horses with obvious chance to win in every race. Then go and have a look at the previous and following Race for that specific Trainers entrants. Like all human beings Trainers would like to maximise there returns, therefore also like to do there own personal doubles on Wins/Places just like ElvisisKing above.
Start with Race 2 and see if that leads you to the winner back from a rest in R3.
Happy punting.

Loopy

Rob,
You are 100% right, bad horses don't tend to run consistently.it's the main reason I don't bet on Kimberley anymore.I just happened to spot Fun To Fly as a big place bet so I was hanging around waiting for it to run and happened to work through the form of the 3rd race.Royal Captain obviously improved with the blinkers on,it's amazing how a change of equipment can do that.My point was simply that the favourite could not possibly represent the 55% probability that the last traded price in the market said it did.
As far as the NHRA implementing the 'consistency' rule goes,we all know that that is never going to happen.

Thanks for the interesting interaction guys...
In the "good old days" there would have been a stipes report,on race3,along the lines of "connections were questioned with regards to the improved run of Royal Captain. It was stated that the horse had shown improvement in blinkers. The explanation was noted and connections WERE ADVISED TO RUN THE HORSE IN BLINKERS IN FUTURE". You don't see that kind of enquiry so often these days.It gave you a feeling that they were awake and on top of things, and racing needs that if we are to convince gamblers to include horseracing in their agenda.
