a very good horse but to be rated a 118 and pocket power a 120 doesnt make sense...he has been made to carry 59.5 at this stage in the gold medalion which will make his task very difficult indeed ...

Too few to quality horses running against each other all the time leads to confusing ratings..

After Saturday's run what would you rate Mythical Flight ? Do you think he ran up to his MR and the ones in front ahead of theirs, bearing in mind the age of those horses and the likelihood of significant improvement.

what a joke merit rating for tropical empire been asked to give weight to multiple group 1 winners and he has won at group 2 level only

Pirates get with the program this an MR system we punish horses. that improve at 7 years old

and to top it off trainer duncan howells said he prepared t.e mp for that particular race while others were using as prep for bigger things
