Canford Cliffs is likely to start favourite for Saturday's Irish 2,000 Guineas after a field of 13 was declared for the Group One contest.
Richard Hannon's colt was third in the Newmarket Guineas earlier this month but is 5/2 favourite with Sky Bet to go two places better at the Curragh.
The three-year-old faces stiff opposition with Aidan O'Brien providing almost half of the runners, the lightly-raced Steinbeck heading a six-strong entry.
"We're going to run, it will be his first run of the year but he's just ready to run and hopefully he's ready to run a nice race," said O'Brien.
"He won his conditions race really impressively, then he ran in the Dewhurst where he ran a lovely race but just got tired in last 50 yards.
Matured
"He was ready to run in the spring but had a little setback before Newmarket.
"Rather than force him and rush him, we gave him time and he's had it now. He's had a racecourse gallop, matured well and he's just ready to start back," he told At The Races.
The Ballydoyle trainer has also declared Fencing Master, Dynasty, Encompassing, Purple Heart and Viscount Nelson.
"He's in good form, he came out of the race well," he said of Fencing Master, who finished seventh at Newmaraket. "He's a grand, laid-back horse.
"He's had his run and maybe in an ideal world we'd have preferred it if they had gone a little bit faster for his first race back.
"Maybe that would have suited him for his first race back and helped him get into a rhythm as he is a little bit lazy.
"Since then our horses have been improving a good deal for their first run."
The Clive Cox-trained Xtension, who was fourth at Newmarket, and Ralph Beckett's Oasis Dancer, complete the English challenge.
Lazy
John Oxx has left in Keredari, a winner over seven furlongs on his reappearance last month.
"The ground at the Curragh was very holding, sticky sort of ground. I didn't think he'd handle it, but obviously he got through it better than the opposition," said the Currabeg trainer.
"I don't think he particularly has a ground preference. He won his maiden on good to firm, so time will tell.
"He's only had three races, we are still finding out a bit about him. Perhaps he'd have an advantage if the ground was soft, that's not going to be the case.
"Hopefully he's going to acquit himself well, he's an idle sort of horse at home. He's not a morning glory, he's a bit lazy so we've never had any view as to his level of his ability.
"We have to find out on the track and so far he's done nothing much wrong.
"I think he'll get the trip. There is plenty of speed in his family. He'll be fine, it was a really a stiff test over the seven on testing ground, so a mile on faster ground should be fine."
Tommy Stack runs Noll Wallop while Jim Bolger's Free Judgement and Sebastian Flyte, trained by Frank Ennis, complete the field.

She is a super gutsy filly although apart from Stacelita I'm not sure how strong the field was?
Anyway she won over more than a mile and held on well enough!!

Should be some mouth watering clashes to come (tu)
Goldikova excels in Prix D'Ispahan stroll
Report: France, Sunday
Longchamp: Prix d'Ispahan (Group 1) 1m1f, 3yo+
DUAL Breeders' Cup Mile winner Goldikova produced an impressive display when setting a new race record the Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp on Sunday.
The Freddie Head-trained mare, who was recording her eighth success at the highest level, quickened in her customary style under a brilliant Olivier Peslier ride.
The 1m1f trip of theIspahan may have stretched her stamina as Byword reduced the winning distance to half a length on the line.
Germany Derby winner Wiener Walzer was ten lengths back in third, while Stacelita, who won three Group 1 races last year, camefourth after racing towards the rear.
Head, who won the Ispahan four times as a jockey, said: "She's a filly that has everything and is out of the ordinary. That she's broken the race record in the process is amazing.
"Her next race will be the Queen Anne and then the same as last year. I think she's better than last year, when she just hated the heavy ground."
Paddy Power cut her to 3-1 (from 7-2) for the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot on June 15 and her wellbeing was showcased in stunning style at Longchamp.
Goldikova finished seventh of nine in last year's Ispahan, but banished any memories of that by winning three Group 1s before claiming a second successive Breeders' Cup Mile crown at Santa Anita.
Judged on this performance, further glory awaits Goldikova, who runs in the colours of theWertheimer brothers.
Khalid Abdullah's Byword, trained by Andre Fabre and ridden by the promising Maxime Guyon, ran with creditin second.
Abdullah's racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe said: "He ran a fantastic race and was only beaten half a length by a great filly. They were a long way off the third and he is still improving. It is possible he will go nextfor the Prince of Wales's at Royal Ascot."
The Prince of Wales's Stakes on June 15 could also be on the agenda for the Jens Hirschberger-trained Wiener Walzer, while Stacelita's trainer Jean-Claude Rouget added: "They went very fast and she could never keep up with the pace. It was an event for specialist milers and we will have to think about her next race."
