I completely agree Magic, however how come a plodder like Louis Pride managed to make up the ground without a problem?

anyway i'm not going to flog this issue. I don't think it was his best ride but the result is in the books!

Louie's Pride is no plodder, has far more speed than Arctic Fleece and won a 1200m earlier in his career, which AF couldn't do even with a Concorde strapped to his back.
