Has there ever been a trainer that can take a horse to the next level like MDK? Look at what the genius has done in recent times with Archipenko, Lucky Find, Sun Classique, Eagle Mountain, Irish Flame, Lizards Desire to name a few and now the list just got bigger with Bold Silvano.

Regarded all over the racing world as one the leading trainers on the planet yet the average SA sports fans wouldn't have the slightest clue who he is. Unfortunately Phumelela have missed so many golden opportunities to use all his achievements as a way of marketing SA racing.

The best way to market any sport is around a champion, I would consider MDK every bit as successful as the many SA sporting greats who made it big on the international stage. The question is will he ever get the recognition he deserves in SA?
