Has this happened to any P6 tote players

Big perm taken for a small percentage.

Bet goes through, but no ticket generated.

Tote operator then has to make a phone call to obtain a ticket number.

One of two options then left...depending on the amount of time left before race start........tote operator cancels bet, then tries processing the ticket again.

When there is time left, we have a repeat...makes me wonder, that, as bets get taken, is there a big brother monitoring the perms, as they are been taken, and calculating what combination would result in the maximium payout. So any out of the ordinary bet gets flagged (exception reporting)

Working with a database of real time info, this would be easy to do, and to pass on ,and use this info to a personal advantage...a bit like insider trading, after everyone has already "invested" their funds.

Strange that the tote machine dose not produce a ticket with P6 bets only, and not with any other bets.

This has happened to me a couple of times, and if it is not coincidence, then something uncanny is happening, because each time I played a P6 perm, and the tote machine, did not discharge a ticket, to confirm that the bet was placed, and, the tote operator had to make a call to obtain ticket number, I end up going out one leg only, with a runner least likely to win, based on form.

And the P6 pays big.

And this raises the issue once again, are tote payouts and results been manipulated.

Good evening Observer trying to follow the post and without phoning a friend or asking the audience?

You place the bet but no ticket...............maybe the printer needs paper?

Operator phones so logged in system? if not a scam?

If cancelled you get your money back before first leg

Not sure how "anyone" who can predict the outcome of pick six at this stage

will give others a chance to reply? :S

No problem with the printer....bet gets registered, but no printout.

Tote operator then phones for ticket number, punches this number in to "cancel", then reprocesses betting form.

I need to know if anyone else has had the same experience, or for someone to shed some light on this.

I may be totally off the mark with result manipulation.

What I am trying to get to a better understanding of, is this a technical problem, or is there more to it.

There would have to be some sort of collusion between Jockeys and the person with this info surely? Is this not strecthing a bit far or are we throwing good money after bad due to corrupt racing?

I have been on the receiving ends of many a short head in a 1 out Pick6. Purely unlucky not corrupt IMO
