Scotia on FIFA, FICA and RICA
14 years 11 months ago
Good morning all and must say the World Cup is proving a massive success for South Africa and the games get better by the day.
The referee decisions remain incredible and even if we are not using video evidence I cant remember witnessing so many wrong calls at this level, if it was the Premier League we would be having punch ups every week on the touch line.
However must say could find nothing wrong with the English call? it looked fine to me.
We have some great games in store but the South Americans still look strong Brazil now 5/2 Spain 3/1 Argentina 9/2 (but remember it can be a funny old game at times) Spain look the best to get to the last 4. World Cup banter
Just moving a bit from FIFA to FICA not sure how many have felt the frustration of having to prove who you are and where you live. I had to open an Edgars account have it delivered to the house have the dog bite it and take it to the bank where it was accepted as proof or residence over and above the fact I have had a bond with the same bank for 20 years.
Now we have RICA, same story with Vodacom, bring your ID and proof of residence to keep your lines open, so went in with all the docs but had to go back to the house as they also need the sim cards from the computer.
Anyway life goes on for the people who have not topped themselves from FIFA/FICA and RICA.
Back to sport
We have had a few scratchings from the July and Irish Flame 4/1 still tops the boards from Bold Silvano and Fort Vogue 5/1 and since I got 30/1 on the Pocket Rocket he has been on the drift and easy to back at 20/1!
This weekend sees Clairwood host one of the biggest race meetings of the year, with three Grade1`s The Golden Slipper,Golden Horseshoe and the main event The Champions Cup,plus the GC Oaks And Derby.
The Eclipse is on Sat from Sandown with Twice Over 5/2, Dar Re Mi 3/1 and Zacinto 11/2.
Wimbledon Federer 15/10 Nadal 7/2 and 5/1 Murray plus Serena looks PTP for the ladies event.
Serena looks good for her 4th title
You can now have 1000/1? on any English soccer player winning the BBC sports personality, however the good news is that AP McCoy has gone 7/2 if Murray 4/1 wins the tennis things could change.
We would also like to encourage anyone looking for positions in racing or any racing people that have any vacancies to please utilise the site........Job Vacancies
In addition food for thought after posting the English racing is in trouble 1000GBP for a maiden win and 1000GBP per month to train are we still healthy or not.........."food for thought "
Plus my weekend treble to beat Joffers the Honeys site has been down, Brazil, Argentina and Spain to make the last 4.
Have a great weekend punting and may your God be with you this does not include Maradona
