Service Ace

Personally,i feel this horse warranted a run.His maiden win was against winners.Placed in graded classics against the two top Horses(PJ & I F).
The trainer mentioned in the classic interviews this horse is a big runner in July.Last run made up lots ground to snatch important place.
The jockey jumping ship does raise concern.

Agree Service Ace does deserve his place, but come race day i think he just doesn't have the gear change needed for a July type dash up the finishing straight.

With all due respect to Hukky, you obviously dont studdy your form very well. I explained Fancies for the July comment that Service A. was never far behind Irish Flame and would certainly out of a Fort Wood go on to improve.

I stated that I was going to rove I.F & S.A in my quat and box them with Bold Silvano, Orbison, River Jetez, Flying Tristram ( which I should have not included as Service Ace has only ever once been behind F.T. & since then over distance been in front) Happy Valley, Vertical Takeoff & Ancestral Fore.

I caught a nice piece of the Quat. Paid over R15,000.00. Pitty I just missed the swingers, that would surely have paid very nicely.

I have no doubt that Service Ace will go on to and wim some black type. Well done Mike Azzie, you have a very nice horse on your hands.
