Jump season and CHELTENHAM

Ok guys maybe a bit early, but the jump season is moving into full swing and time to get us into the mood.

We start with the clash on Saturday, which I have highlighted on a separate thread between ALTIOR and Cyrname.
I have made the point that I feel ALTIOR will get the distance and go on to win the King George on Boxing Day.
I am sure many local punters have been put off ante post for life after the recent chopping and changing on the local markets, however consider the 3/1 on the champ before Saturday.

Many of the big names will be coming out over the next couple of months and some early speculation might be worth while leading up to the festival.

Betfair Chase is also on Sat. Where only 4 runners may turn up for another interesting clash between Bristol De Mai and Lostintranslation .

Runners to follow

BUVEUR DAIR
OK CORRAL
PAISLEY PARK
BENIE DES DIEUX
KLASSICAL DREAM
ENVOI ALLEN
FAKIR DOUDAIRIES
SAMCRO
TIGER ROLL

Last but not least

ALTIOR

Good Punting

Was there Bob when Kauto Star won it for a 5th time and that was total goosebumps material.

Last year's Racing Post Arkle winner Footpad paved the way to a crack at the Ladbrokes King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day with an impressive victory in the Listed Boomerang.ie Chase at Thurles on Thursday.

We can add FOOTPAD to above

I did recommend a punt on ANGELS BREATH today on jumps debut and certainly one to add to the horse to follow.

Laurina made a winning start to her chasing career when defeating Albert Bartlett winner Minella Indo, making it seven wins from eight starts for Willie Mullins.

Paddy Power cut the six-year-old to 5-1 outright favourite (from 8) for the Racing Post Arkle at Cheltenham in March.

The 2018 Mares' Novice Hurdle winner jumped well in the main, bar a slight error midway, and came home eight lengths clear of Henry de Bromhead's runner.

Last year my horse for the Gold Cup was KEMBOY who got taken out at the first fence.
Nevertheless he made up for it afterwards by beating the best 3 milers around.
He is owned by along, with other horses,a Syndicate in Ireland that appears to have got into money trouble with the Irish authorities.
While this is being sorted out none of the horses are allowed to run.
Wouldn't it be tragic if Kemboy couldn't run in the Gold Cup.

Gordon Elliott is dreaming of a historic Grand National hat-trick bid for Tiger Roll, while acknowledging that owner Michael O'Leary will have the final say on the Aintree legend's participation.

The hugely popular performer, whose chances of returning to Aintree next year were described as "slim and none" by the Gigginstown boss this month, is reportedly recovering well from a recent procedure to remove a small chip in a joint.

Speaking on Wednesday from his Cullentra base, Elliott said a return to Liverpool in April has been in his mind since Tiger Roll brought the house down with his National double in April.

One of the must follows:

Paisley Park, a son of Oscar who produced some award-winning performances when a shining light of the 2018-19 campaign, tops the bill as he makes his seasonal return on a card that tees up Newbury perfectly for its most important date of the winter.

There are not many handicaps in Britain more prestigious than the Ladbrokes Trophy, but the race that used to be known as the Hennessy can be chilled for 24 hour.
