Kempton Park 26th and 27th

Good morning to all the Punters on Boxing Day 🖐
It has always been a big day and have traditionally found myself at a race track somewhere on the planet.
There is normally a big choice to where we race but the UK appears to have cut down on meetings?
I am aware we have different threads open, please post your fancies.....
On the local front. Kenilworth: where the first couple of favs look good.
Greyville: where Gallic Princess look a fair bet.
As far as the big meeting from Kempton ( highly recommended on Boxing Day)
Paul Nicholls is the man to follow, the question is, which one for the King George, it’s certainly no 2 horse race but Clan Des Obeaux vs Cyrname is going to be a cracker and the race of the day.
One thing for sure, ESPATANTE will be in the number one box at 4/10 ish.
Paul Nicholls also has the best bet at Wincanton where Kandoo Kid should win.
In Ireland we have a few strong fancies.
Leopardstown : Micro Manage ( good flat form ) and Zanahiyr looks cert for hat trick.
Limerick: where the famous JP silks should win with Palm Beach and Shadow Rider should give the big punter another good day.
A few doubles and trebles for today.
Good Punting

I hope Mr & Mrs Scotia are back on the mend and healthy and hope all clanners and their families are healthy and safe.
Epetante is Henderson not Nichols? Seems to be the proverbial good thing!
Interesting running in the big Gr1 King George each way is Saint Calvados... always runs well fresh and 7 year olds dominate this race in history gone by! Also around 25/1.
Great racing from Kempton as well as a further 2 Gr1’s from Ireland.
Limerick Gr1 14:35 (16:35SA) my fancy Assemble is drifting like MH370 but ran a cracking 2nd to the best around last time, currently 18/1.
From Greyville, Mary O in the Flamboyant Stakes for me, around 6/1.
Kenilworth looks like the usual same trainers couplings and owners running against each other, difficult to get excited about anything there.
Some good Wincanton and Wetherby racing as well....
Wolverhampton my fancy for the day is short... Make It Rain in the 2:20 or (4:20SA).
Besides all this, there is the Boxing Day test and lots of football to be enjoyed.. can’t see me doing much more than being couch bound for the day.
Enjoy the day and stay safe

Disaster for most.
One thing is for sure anywhere in the world, you will show a loss betting odds on shots.

Well we have to get back of the ropes for another go at Kempton.
If you watch that show pointless ?Espatante would have been my least likely of the 3 hotties to get beat.
Plus well done to Bryony Frost winning the King George with the NICHOLLS horse Frodon.
Nicky Henderson takes centre stage with his two stars
SHISKIN and ALTIOR (is he still the best at 11yrs).
The double looks the answer for a nervous punter comeback.
Again will be well worth watching.
Good punting

Wasn’t too bad a day for me..
Mary ran a good 2nd, Make It Rain won for me and my outsider just missed the each way finishing 4th run out late in the King George..
Great ride from Bryony Frost on Frodon, magnificent to see. That ride also took her to become the all time most winning female jump jockey. Brilliant!
Today is a whole new ball game after a big front of heavy wind and rain hit the UK/Ireland.
Bedsides more great racing at Kempton, today is also the Welsh Grand National subject to a track inspection, and there is Leopardstown and Wetherby.
My bet for the day comes at Leopardstown in the 2:55 Minella Times at 15/2, been prepped for this race and Rachel Blackmore take the controls, get on.
Wetherby has a good thing in the form of First Flow in the 2:10 and he seems hard to oppose at 15/8.
Kempton, more great grading racing. Sadly I’m opposing Altior for 2 reasons, all the rain and his age. Here I’m going with Rouge Vif to keep improving and is good value at 7/1 in today’s mud.
Race of the day subject to a track inspection is the Welsh Grand National at Chepstow. What an amazing track to watch racing, with its hills.. super..
Secret Reprieve and Springfield Fox have been heavily backed and my favorite jump jockey rides the latter. The Tizzard family sadly lost a daughter/sister to cancer and they have dedicated this race to her and they run Christmas In April, I’m sure everyone will be wanting this to win for them. The old man Vieux Lion Rouge hit form last time and is a big runner at a big price. Didero Vallis looks great value at 40/1 in the mud if they race.
Back in sunny SA, High Born Lady in the last looks to be interesting and could be the real deal... worth a look.
