Oh Dear,
now we advising people to adopt the martingale system.......Heaven forbid he wins the last 3 races today ONLY
10
20
40
80
160
320
640
1280
2560
or worse he comes through with a double (leg 11+12)
5120
So far invested
10230
Now you need to get 10 240 onto a 4/1 shot in a handicap mmmm i wonder who will lay you that bet?
Or he actually only wins the last race of the day and your bet is now
20 480
on a 9/2 shot,and btw by now your bookamker has sussed out this wonderful strategy of yours and refuses you bet.
Sometimes i read your posts and think you clued up, then i read stuff like this and think possibly not

I think that he has some good rides today. In the first and second at Lingfield he could well win also the 5th and 6th races. I have taken an each way atc/trebles/doubles as well as an each wayL15 with those 4 selections.

This is a better strategy i think. Maybe all of his horses 4 folds onwards for small money but i have seen this before in the UK and the boy ends up with a blank and the ounter ends up OUT

meant the 5th and 6th race. Dont think that Three Ducks in the 4th has much of a chance.

Not for me today, he will be trying but so will Moore/Hanagan, not to mention Dettori and Fallon.
I don't think he will have any winners tonight and might manage two? in the afternoon
So be careful

He is trying to win today - riding for the championship - go place atc on a super heinz 12 horse (like a canadian ) - think it is 256 bet or around that.

Just to confirm that "doubling up" can be bad for your health.
The even money shots in a casino, how far can you go before you hit the maximum casino limit or the grains of sand story
What is the total number of grains needed to fill the whole chess board.?
Given that the chess board have got 64 boxes ie white and black,If you put maize grains in doubling sequence ie 1st box=1 grain,2nd=2,3rd=4,4th=8,5th=16 etc .The weight of grain should be 1 gram so 1000grains=1kg,1000kg=1tonne
need the answer in weight.
2,Is it posible to get these grains on earth?
Sq 1 --> 2^0 = 1
Sq 2 --> 2^1 = 2
Sq 3 --> 2^2 = 4
Sq 4 --> 2^3 = 8
....
Sq 64 --> 2^63 = 9.22337204 × 10^18
Adding these up you get:
2^64-1 = 1.84467441 × 10^19 grains
= 1.84467441 × 10^16 grams
= 1.84467441 × 10^13 kg
= 1.84467441 × 10^10 tonnes
That is approximately 18.4 *billion* metric tonnes.
I found a website that estimates the total number of grains of sand on Earth as 7.5 x 10^18, but we came out with 1.8 x 10^19 which is more than the number of grains available
OK if he is trying for the Jockey championship its best to take 7/1 (1000/140) and hope he wins plenty, no stress.........lol
