Morning form a beautiful Pe today, so far sunny with no wind BUT it could change in an hour...Nice rain again on Sat.night. We have 5 runners today.

Race 1 Carte Blanche AGAIN!!!!! Hope he doesnt find traffic problems, Wayne seems to enjoy him and hoping for one of his better runs again. Talk in the race is No.17 Western Star. Swingers no 3 and 17.

Race 3 Tangerine Dreams work has been good, first run out of the maidens and looking for a cheque.

Race 4 Torcida Split today Fransie will ride to "instructions". We think highly of him and he should be right there.

Race 7 Blushing Count working well , he will be running on but we feel that Classic Lecture will be too strong for this field. Classic Lecture is way above average.Take swingers and exactas our 2.

Newturf, when (oh when!) is Carte Blanche going to run in a 1000m maiden plate in Kimberley?? He'll bolt up against the usual suspects, based on his 1200m run there!(

PS: Classic Lecture is my best of the say. I didn't see his last run as I was away, but he seems to have been very impressive and even earlier in his career he struck me as a seriously good prospect for PE. No wind could be the best possible news for Perestroika and Torcida Split (as long as it stays that way) and I make them both the ones to beat in their respective races.

Magic, couldnt agree more but we have 2 problems with Kmb.....

1 Kmb trainers get nomination preference so it is very hard to get into those races.

2 It is a long and expensive trip if you cant get enough horses with good chances in to run.

We intend to keep looking at it though. This was the main reason why we sold Eye of the World as we couldnt keep travelling him there. We are looking to go for the 6 and 13 December meetings.

Thanks Newturf. It's just that I saw there's a maiden over 1000m next Monday and the noms are not very big. It would have been a lovely race, but I understand that it is a long trek from PE.
