Horse racing bring in the far lesser income for them...
Both are toothless organizations and are manipulated by GC, PHUM and the various bookmaker associations.
All industries that take deposits must be authorized by the Financial Services Board.
Estate agents, Letting agents, Attorneys, Advocates, Financial brokers, Medical aid broker, Medical aid schemes, Insurance companies and Banks.
Why are GC, PHUM and bookmakers excluded.

The drive worldwide is to
1. increase the cash holding percentages by institutions that take deposits
2. corporate governance
3. transparency to the public

Banking - BASEL III
Insurance - SOLVENCY II

The 4 major banks in RSA need R600b to comply.
The question must be asked - why are they increasing the cash holding percentages..
Surely bookmakers must also increase their cash holding percentages...

The Gambling boards CANNOT enforce this...a disaster in the waiting....



GC and Phum are doing what they are suppose to do..organic growth of their customer base...dividends...share price must go up..
One cannot fault the GC and PHUM Target Operating Models...they are on track..
Co-mingle and international customers is their priority....and it should be...

The jockey club is doing what they are suppose to do...test (lol)..hope they still using the gloves...


The RA has missed it's TOM...
RA=RACING ASSOCIATION...?????
Are they not suppose to keep the Racing Industry on track...???
It seems that the RA is PRO organization...?????

The RA is suppose to be the police of racing...???
The RA is suppose to tackle the jockey club to be transparent... all samples take to be displayed on the website with the progress and findings per testing phase per sample....which samples disappear, break, not tested..test negative or positive...
The RA is suppose to tackle the jockey club vets that are to suppose to visit the stables...

The RA is suppose to tackle nominations as per MDK SUGGESTIONS..
The RA is suppose to tackle the import/export issues

The RA is suppose to audit the tote (outsource the function) ...ensure that the tote is transparent..
The RA is suppose to drive the Gambling boards to link all bookmakers to the Gambling board server for audits (realtime)

The RA is visible....doing great marketing...
perhaps replace these guys with real RA members to run the RA and outsource the marketing to the current crowd at the RA..
After all they are doing a great marketing job...
