Personally I don't think Allocation is in the same league as Snappy. But I second the motion that Royal Zulu Warrior is the best bet off what is effectively an artificial merit rating that can turn out to be many pounds short of what it should be.

Unless there is a first timer in the 1st that is hot Snappy should come home lonely. Allocation not in the race!

The Christmas Handicap is one of those races where I'd like to have about eight horses in the PA, but I think Askari could run well at big odds. This is his perfect C&D and his stable's horses are running well.

I don't know why you guys are writing Allocation off. He hangs worse than a drunken sailor but if he decides to run straight he could give Snappy a hiding. I'm sure that Muis being the pro that he is, is working hard to sort him out. With the champ aboard I'm prepared to give him 1 more chance.

Streaker is the best bet for me. He was staying on strongly last time. With more racing experience, I expect him to deal with that field.

Race4 is a 3 cornered contest with Isle of Dogs (will appreciate the distance), Plush (jockey strike) and Miss Diana. All the best boys.

Race6. Romantic Moon looks the one but Legal Account did nothing for the form. I still expect her to win.

Race8. Take Over Target has been most impressive but I respect Mr Harry.

Race10 Royal Zulu Warrior looks the one but I won't take the short odds because he has played up at the start in the past. Worried that if he plays up, his race might be run before the start.

Lets hope the 2nd run after the rest doesn't affect Romantic Moon Greg. I expect her to win but obviously we would have loved to see Legal Account romp in to frank the form.

P.s. The heat might have been the undoing of Legal Account and all other fancied on Wed. It was one of the hottest and most unbearable days in Durban.

The other horse that on the day looks good at first glance is ROMANTIC MOON ,but is held over 5 lgths by Arewehavingfunyet on her only Cwd run.Should we ignore? or could she be much better at Pmb?
