Geez, with the only real danger scratched, My Kazzie seems poised for a big race. She is our last runner of the year.
Each year we have a contest among our racing partners (250 of them) to select the number of races we will win in any given year.
One guy has selected 56, which is where we stand right now. Another is the only guy to pick 57.
There's quite a bundle riding on this, as the first prize is a 5 percent interest in any horse we syndicate next year up to $1 million, so in theory, the first prize is worth up to $50,000.
The contest is restricted only to our clients.
It is our way of thanking our clients for their support.
