I have serious doubts if they will race at Turffontein.....reports are that the rain hasn't stopped almost and rain predicted until next Thursday???

Guess I'll concentrate on Kenilworth for tomorrow!

I was wondering about 2 horses at Turrfontein tomorrow:

Lancewood seems awfully short in the betting for the 3rd. I know he has run behind some relatively good horses but he seems like he struggles to stay 1600m? I just made the race a little more competitive and 4/10 seems a LOT cramped?

Second one I have an issue with is Hollywoodboulevard. I think she has this field stone cold with the conditions of this race. My concern is how fit will she be? Charles Laird has said on TV that they are really struggling to get their horses trained with all the rain at Randjiesfontein?
She has not run for 6 weeks which is not that long and I guess all the horses are in the same boat but will you take 5/10?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Tend to agree with you on both statements Tombo.... Hollywoodboulevard is the class act in the field but there is that element of doubt in my mind whether this inside track will suite her style of running .... Miss Turb and Tree of Perfection must be considered?

Lizzie Arden surely should win the 4th, really nothing to beat in that field (unless the azzman first timer is any good).
I also give a huge chance to Havasha and Justthewayyouare.
Outsiders for me tomorrow are Bull Run (same race as Lancewood) and in the last Pink Sombrero.

In the Hollywood race Greg, don't leave out Catherina Lady. She is pretty well weighted, well drawn and I'm sure will be right there when the photo's are taken!

In race 8 I like Make Space for a small E/W bet. I think there are worse horses in the field than this one! Having said that the 7th and 8th are horrible races where any old dog could win. If they race it's going to be an interesting pot Greg!
