Surely only 3 and 7 should qualify for the pick 6 - not 3,4,7 &9 ,

I don't have much of an opinion about Mike Azzie.....for me he just never comes into the picture when I handicap a race. I am going to say however that he seems to make strange decisions about which races his horses run in? Perhaps I'm off the mark here but too many times has his horses run in races where they patently have no chance of staying and they are rediculous prices.
Anyway as I mentioned I don't really care, i just wanted to get your opinions.

Tombo.... I have this phobia about any Var going further than 1200m... Yes I know its stupid, I'll go see a shrink about it:D
Racing programme really sux in Gauteng, first leg of the pot the FIRST RACE DOWN THE STRAIGHT, how the fark are we suppose to know where the better going in... Thats why I spent only R110 on a yankee eachway... NO MORE:)

This horse Flame of Hope has never shown pace in either 1000m or 1600m....Now it shows pace from the off and gets up to win.
Having said that I did think it looked well going down to the start.
This game will make mugs of us all!!!!

Tommy, the poitive thing about Azzie is that very few of his runners "need a run" and I think that few stables run each of their runners "on merit" better and that is a great help to punters...I would like to see the NHA take steps to incentivise other stables to follow suit.
You will find very few more punter friendly stables than MA, IMO.

So 'someone' backs the Laird filly - no allies - 'Appie' up - securing a good price - but then the stupid cow spoils it all by not going into the pens - shame.
Almost had a bet on High Lake - but did not - 100m out I was cursing myself - so I was quite relieved to see the Azzie filly get up; and to be fair to Mr Azzie, this was only the filly's 2nd run for him - she did not shape over 1600 and he brought her back to the shorter trip - most times horses make fools out of us:
