Have to say they looked a very polished wel balanced team tonight and there was only ever going to be one result.

I'm a little dissapointed this morning. Expected a much better fight from Schalke or more importantly.. A GOALFEST from UNITED. 2 goals in 2 minutes and I thought here it comes, instead we started playing keep the ball. Just hope the return leg delivers a bit more.

Greg, United were excellent last night and if they had won 8-0 Schalke could not have complained. That German keeper was outstanding and I can see why United wanted to sign him. The second leg will be a formality. When United play like that then even those like myself have to stand back and say well done.

It was a one sided match. I can't understand Schalke's coach strategy.
I can not see Schalke scoring 3 goals at Old Trafford.

True, as it was a semi they and they were at home it seemed from the start that they were looking for a draw. The match tonight should be a cracker and I have a feeling that Mouriniho has sussed out how to beat Barcelona.

Manuel Neuer reminds me of Peter Schmeichel, so imposing in the box.... Looks like he will be off to Beyern Munich next season...:X
