Singapore Racing Knowledge:S

Hey guys,

I am back in Singapore for the next 6 weeks and would like to know is there anyone that has a bit of local Singapore racing knowledge? I have been to Kranji once and it is an awesome track/experience, etc but cost me a few S$'000 due to alchohol and no local racing knowledge combined...so when I go back I want to go better prepared and hopefully recoup some of those losses < If you have any Singapore racing knowledge, let me know please??

.....very confusing....bets are in S$5 units....ask for a $20 win and they give you $20X5 and you already in for close to a ZAR gorilla.....amazing that nearly everyone speaks english there.....exept on the course and in betting lounge's....:S....a very harrowing experience....broke and in the red before you get into the swing of it....
