John Smit vs Bismarck du Plessis
14 years 4 days ago
When John Smit replaced Bismarck today in PE with 20 min to go, I was surprised by Bismarck's actions leaving the field........the f*ck word, shaking of the head etc...he was totally p*ssed-off and wanted all to see how unhappy he was. I think he's one of the best hookers in world rugby and better than Smit, but I'm 100% sure that he was informed of John being our world cup captain etc....and he's got to play 2nd fiddle
Acted a bit like a 'little boy' today and nonsense like this in a team is not good
Just mho
WELL DONE BOKKE

Remember Teichman in 1999. Smit is our world cup captain. Support him & the Bokke, finish & klaar. I'm just stating that Bismarcks actions tonight was childish and that that type of shise is not good for any team's spirit going to defend their title. He knows his status in the team

Smit is not good enough to make the team on merit, full stop. His team mates know it as well as anyone else who know a bit about rugby.

It must be very frustrating for Bismarck. I thought both played well today though.

I have a vision of two turning points in the WC - Smit coming on in a knock out game and costing us the match and glory boy one-handed Sonny Bill Williams doing a Herschele Gibbs at some point and costing NZ a knockout game. Hopefully the former doesn't happen.

Personally I think Jacques Fourie is best centre in world, although he hasn't been at his best in last two games.
It took an injury to the very average AD Jacobs for the very average coach to realise Fourie's ability a couple of years ago or so.
The coach only had criticism for his world cup winning predecessor, showing zero respect, yet four years down the line half the players he has are White's players who are now 2 yards slower.
His tactics are White tactics four years outdated.
Mr. Vison has turned out to have zero vision.

If you punt with your head and not with your heart then you should support the Boks with the same pricipals - It is like supporting Mike De Kock in Dubai when he has a bunch of 10year old horses that have last won a Group 1 5 years ago. To be patriotic is admirable - to be stupid is not!

I was one of those who punted with my head last night and guess where that got me

Keep the passion for the Boks... it is the fuel in there bellies (tu)
on Bismarck's obvious childish actions walking off...uncalled for and can cause unnecessary friction in this team still building, teams stand together
