more donations have made their way over the last few days, but some are still not accounted for.

to all those that have pledged, please check that deposits have been done and sent to correct account.

we are VERY close to R20,000.

Billy Jacobson was able to donate and the SA National Jockeys Association, run in partnership with ProSport, have a pledge due to be deposited tomorrow...
Stables that contributed were Snaiths, Shams, Kethro and Dittmer
Summerveld Equine Hospital Vets and Dr.McVeigh's Cape Town practice also supported

can ONLY grow for next time

ps. smaller donations will only reflect on the statement of the final count

Chip I did a 10 42. In truth I was dissappointed as my prep was really good. I dont take any sugar - pepsi or GU's etc, on raceday
so I got really exhausted late in the race.

5 days after my last marathom in May, I did a 2 32 for 32 k's, so I should go under 3 30 for a marathon.
Comrades has got me f%#@ked. It always has. I have got unfinished business with it.

Great to see you bounce back so quickly and take up the challenge for next year. It is definitely a race that gets under your skin.

Next year I want a handicap start - 45 minutes. Just to make it interesting. You will learn a lot about yourself, the route, the training, etc from this year run, so you will still be odds on to take the prize.

Anthony do you have to take brandy with the pepsi ? A bit spook and diesel might help.
