i have stopped watching the real housewives of new york - too boring - this thread has more claws and jaws than the JHB zoo - thanks for the Friday Fun - don't be so serious boys - if half the horses we backed were as serious as we sometimes are we'd be rich -

@pirates:
'donkey i see you putting the mockers on me ,if i abused you i apologise but just apologise for your libelious post and lets move on'
When public figures are mocked, satirised and even defamed.... very few have a legal leg to stand on in bringing on a libellous / defamatory action.
Jockeys and trainers fall within the same territory; their participation calls for public reaction.... parise or condemnation. A punter that loses his money consistently has every right to call that jockey / trainer a crook / cheat, etc, more so when it's a fancied horse.
How many instances when a trainer has told that his (not her!) horse is not a trier, and ends up winning? What about that trainer who got so puffed up about 'stable info' being leaked for a punter to climb on the day before the race?
Come, this game has its fair share of crooks .... and gentle (wo)men; let's not kid ourselves! In fact, we all study the racecard as 'crooks' to prise that elusive winner with jockey X or trainer Y!
