Time to capitalize on a fellow formites' good memory....I have just done some checking and DWTD made her winning debut on 28 June 2010. The meeting where I told Eastexpo about this potential little star was on 3 July 2010 at Clairwood less than a week from that run. Pedigree peelers or advisors and bloodstock agents do not have qualifications or liciences but their business is strictly word of mouth. East thanks again for the plug, and DWTD is not the only star I have identified from a pedigree selection.My Pierre Jordaan saga was well recorded on another forum site and so was Val de Ra and more recently Variety Club....;)

It is fitting that I post this under this thread. I was once challenged by none other than St John Gray about pedigees when I knew very little. Announce was a 2 time winner and going for a 3rd. I took up a quest to find out more......(:D

Hearty congratulations to the trainer

1St time i backed this horse was on sat.I was also fortunate with his training feats during my campus stage.
Managed to catch a few jackpots with two bankers,using horses from his stable.

@Muhtiman

Once during a post race interview,Romeo Frances mentioned he 'lent' a mare to St John Gray to breed with.Offspring was very successful.Any clue which horse it was?

no idea, but Romeo Francis was around in Johnny Joseph's stable when DWTD'S dam was racing there.....St John paid a whopping R350K for her and at the time was a big price for a race mare.
