Greg, this reminds me of a time i took some Irish friends to Kruger, in the middle of January. The temps must have been reaching high 40's it was so hot. Even I was battling! They sat at the pool all day with a wet towel over their heads! The looked close to death many times over that week!!

DTF phone or PM me when you know your dates here and if Durban is on your itinerary which it should be I will show you around Summerveld, and give you breakfast if you up early. Will also take you racing if you can go. A very good place to stay is Warrens in Hillcrest as it is 10mins from Summerveld and half an hr from any course and highly recommended.

Would miss the Kruger and focus on the Cape and possibly North coast of Durban, would keep away from Joburg and Pretoria but if you do get off the plane in Joburg and the racing is on at the big T come and join us

Seeing that you will be bringing in euros, there's a lovely hotel in Cape Town called One & Only.
