South of Port Elizabeth the world renowned supertubes waves for surfing at Jeffereys Bay. There is a beautiful man made marina in Port St. Frances.
The ultimate destination is Tsitsikamma try to stay at the Fenery Lodge, one of the most spectacular views where the river meets the mountain & ocean. Walk the longest suspension bridge at Tsitsikamma National Park which goes over the Stormsriver mouth. If you like to bungy jump, try Bloukrantz Bridge which is worlds highest bungy jump. Natures Valley has one the most beautiful beaches.

Does not believe in plastic. The only plastic is the one one that gives her free transactions.
After a meal in a fancy restaurant pays in cash. She says that she doesn't have to impress anyone.

DTF – Im the typical stingy backpacker & love the KZN south coast …the further away, the better (eg. all the way down to Port Edward & the Wild Coast Sun (where you can hotel, do some beach, horse around, golf, casino, venture up the Kowie river / watersports / whatever)….maybe following your meetup with Craig
January is though very hot & humid, and you will never fault a trip to the western Cape! Stay as central as possible where everything is happening, party in Long Str, pop around the mountain to the track, lunch & beach in camp’s bay, visit the wine lands …very scenic & tourist friendly! (even a quick drive down to gordon’s bay & passing Strand that has a lovely beach)
