Hi Pirates. I noticed a similar thing with a Mike de Kock trained horse Going On Thirty at the Vaal on Thursday. Going On Thirty was the only MDK trained horse for the day. Although I thought it was a pity that only two grooms greeted Going On Thirty into the 2nd box I also thought that these grooms must very very good inasfar that they probably managed all the logistics for the horse to and back from the Vaal.

Once these horses lose, they[owners and trainers] can't always conceal their disapointment [disgust] especially when they got money on it. Watch them closely
It begs the question...

WHERE IS THE LOVE?

.....even worse.... not many trainers go to the un-saddling enclosure after horses completely miss the places....imo post race inspection is very important.....there you are able to see how horse has taken the race..... has its breathing returned to normal...was it tired.... what is the body language is telling you....did it enjoy the race ....:S....simply most don't care enough...all about getting paid for looking after some muggs expensive hobby....::o
