I was not a PP fan forv the dingaans(remember I got chastised for going with Silver Flyer(remember the "read the form " comment.
IF he is overrated at a mile why would he be a certainty to win a handicap.....I will include, but not back or bank him!
Perana is such a dog that he will probably choose today to suddenly act in the wet and win.......however on form he has not perforrmed in the wet(and is nowhere near 100 in the wet??????) and Eurosilver is 5kg out with POMODORA.....so P should be best on the card today.

peranas best chance of victory is to go out and make it a true run 1800 in the testing conditions as his 2 biggest dangers could have stamina limitations, his runs in the soft behind link man and english garden are good enough to suggest he will handle the going...if i recall correctly the run behind english garden was in bottomless going

Still very cloudy in Midrand - 'hopefully no more rain' - now why does it always seem an option to move from Turffontein the Vaal - can't remember if it ever happened the other way around - so does the Vaal always get less rain than Turffies - unlikely - so probably has better drainage at the Vaal? If so, it would have been a wise move (but a logistical challenge - more expensive I'm sure) to go to the Vaal again - rather than 'hoping for no more rain'
On the transport side, I have been informed by a 'powerful' source, that with the advent of this e-tolling sh*t, that trainers will be billed for transport in the future - and we all know who is going to end up paying for that - sort of nullifies the 'positive' news that stakes are going to go back to 2010 levels :S
