Aye Scotia, it war my self-compensation for going into the shop at Scottsville racecourse yesterday and asking if they had the book about Pocket Power ... the lady there had never heard of the book and - even more shocking - HAD NEVER HEARD OF POCKET POWER.

I was seriously aback taken.

No I'll have to wait until 24 Feb like Zusz ... 24 Feb 2020 I reckon, which is about when it should arrive in the dorp I live in. Either that or take lessons in how to operate a VCR.

Erk, Eish, I just have to give a repeat of some of the conversation I had at that shop ... it was like something out of Fawlty Towers or maybe Monty Python (though I don't claim to have their talent for humerous writing):

"Have you maybe got a copy of the book about Pocket Power?"
"Book?"
"Yes, the one about Pocket Power".
Which book's that?"
"It came out late last year, it's new ... have you got a copy I can buy?"
"About Pocket Power?"
"Yes, you know, about the famous South African racehorse, Pocket Power".
"I can sell you a really good book of recipes if you like."
