These low grade meetings are once a month, and they are being phased out anyway.

I would do with the slow ones ,the same as you inevitably do with the old ones.........just a little earlier. A slow racehorse ,magnificent as it remains, becomes an ordinary horse.
I enjoy my car,but I don't race it cos it's not a racing car,if you see my point.

A lot of owners get attached to their horses, not everyone wants to send them
where old cars go ie;knackers yard.
The slow ones keep the racing going,i know it makes painful viewing sometimes but
we need them for midweek racing and the AW which is generally low graders keeps
UK racing going in the winter months.
Have you owned any horses Rob?.
Go on YOUTUBE ,Blue Warrior at Kempton(the great escape).I paid a lot for Blue and looked what happened
to him.Paid vets fees for operation, after that incident, was very patient with him to no avail.
He chipped a bone in his spine.he had enormous potential. Now he is at the school.
Point im making is your never guaranteed and sometimes these low graders are affordable for
owners who want a day at the races and a bit of fun.

I've only owned the tail of one horse, unfortunately not a very good one (soupmeat in fact) ... The disappointment of its failure was worse than trying to get a shag on a first date...

That night at Kempton was my worst in racing.
I know the girl that looks after him has done a little
video of him on youtube. He looks well and she loves him.
