Betfair Site

I see that you can still see the betfair site and all the markets to check their prices...........I thought that would be quite handy until I kept finding that it had me in tears..........lol

exactly - if I see 6/1 on betfair, how can I possibly take 7/2 from the brave local layers who limit bets and close accounts at will.

Have always used as a reference and have to say Interbet always on par at the off and many times before and consider they are only an exchange between the punters and the local bookies?

They have blocked all Poker Accounts at this stage

No Titch they have blocked ALL accounts............poker is just one of the platforms affected.
As you open Betfair it rcognises the SA address,tells you that you cannot log-in or bet,so it blocks you at the front door ,as it were.
That is before you can select sport,horseracing ,live casino,poker etc.
That paragraph from the statement by that genius from the gambling board "we will blacklist sites which may affect future licence applications" tells the whole story I guess!

I have tried every trick in the book to get through.... I can however assure fellow Betfarians that we are not alone in being deprived of Betfair. The Yanks are in no better footing.

My accounts at Betfair remain open however for whenever I need a decent bet. I send an e-mail to my counterparts overseas and let them do the business for me. Not the ideal but at least I am getting better value. But I must say it comes with a lot of aggravation as you dont know exactly what the other person abroad has done.

Maybe a move to Swaziland or Mozambique is the solution... Maybe we can appoint an agent overseas to trade on our behalf, send them our bets by e-mail and let the agent/representative do the rest.... For a nominal fee of course.

C'mon chaps when there is a will to do something there is a way...

There is no SA Racing at Betdaq or is there???

they do have SA racing but only weekend meetings...but sport and UK meetings a plenty
