also a famous trick for would be money launder's..... backing scratched horses before they are decleared as non runners ....:S

I've seen horses travelling very well in a race shorten in running on the tote. I'm not a conspiracy theorist by nature, but I believe they have inadvertently given a window to overseas money to bet during the early stages of the race.

The only thing the tote is good for is the soccer 6..I wish hollywood or someone else would do the soccer6 and pay out the totes payout. and maybe from a bookie point of view open up next to all the totes..then the tote should become redundant

Oscar,Hollywood DO do the soccer6 (tote payouts apply)............and you can take a % ,which you can't do on the tote!

That may be the most dishonest assurance I have ever read...........................even worse than "trust me I'm a gynaecologist" or "Aye,would I lie"

I think it is laughable as bets of that size are reserved for track, jockey, trainer and conditions knowledge and maybe some inside info.

I have also tried the gynaecologist line in my younger days plus the white overall and Thermometer but I kept getting thrown out the dance halls. Lol

What we must remember as we have many posts on this subject and u do not get big punters putting on big bets via a tote, certainly not into a small pool IMO

Does anyone actually think that we have punters walking about with a suitcase of money and sticking a bet on a lucky number via a tote outlet?

Isn't it amazing that the betting pools on the off for pick 6 and PA remain the same, where is the late influx of bets from abroad.
