Will be great to watch. I hardly watch Zim racing, but it's becoming more interesting with our jocks there. Sherbet, the way Lerena got that 5/10 shot home a week or 2 ago was a great ride.

Or maybe I do less work than you and have more time to kill tootling around the Internet?

Another big improvement would be if they had chocolate mousse for dessert at every meeting.

Sorry please find Craig at Parklands hospital! Pirates I heard the same though and that was because our Chairman had a few things to say about the standard of the food. Everyone says it has improved.

The food has always been pretty good, in my opinion. (And being Italian, I think I'm qualified on the subject of matters gastronomic.
) The starters especially are terrific.(tu) Some days are better than others, but that's also a matter of opinion. One man's caviar is another man's dog poop.

Zimbabwe racing is indisputable proof that if everyone pulls in the same direction anything is possible, they have survived against all odds...
Give everything but up!

This is true. It would scarcely be a bigger miracle if the Titanic suddenly refloated itself and sailed off into the sunset. But then Zimbabweans have always been good at "maaking 'n plan". Having lived there for five years during the sanctions era in the 70s I have an idea of how they somehow always manage to keep going. The results can be somewhat surprising (like one memorable occasion when a million cans of tinned fish from God-knows-where magically appeared overnight in our local supermarket), but the point is someone found a way to get them there.
A pity, though, that almost 40 years later they still have to live in almost a day-to-day fashion.

It is heating up slowly so lets hope its enough to dry it up.
Will keep you posted.

More rain expected tomorrow and cyclone weather on Friday again...hopefully predictions are wrong!
If they don't race tonight, don't expect racing at Durban for the rest of this week and possibly weekend

Huh? I've just looked at two forecasts (including the one on ABC's homepage) and they say nothing of the sort. Scattered thunderstorms on Saturday is the next expected rain.
