so disappointing Bold Silvano ... never looked like threatening at any stage.

Fantastic win there by Master of Hounds...(tu)

Nothing running on from the back today, but still Presvis looked to be battling from the start, his best days surely behind him now....

Greg,I have been keeping notes of horses leading up to the big night and I don't know what your opinion is, but over the meetings there seem to be a lot of horses, not "pulled" as such, but not ridden with any intent...........Presvis ,as you mention,if you watch, was never looking for a clear run and went through the motions.
Every week a few horses have just come home behind the pack without looking for a fight.
There are a horses on the big night ,you will have to ignore prep form IMO.

Previs always does this and then when it really counts he comes up and wins.

Looked to me from the head-on that Mutahadee couldn't get a run ... he kept trying to get through and had to track right and right again .... and eventually actually nudged another horse out of his path (did I see that right? Not sure). With a clearer run he might prove a bigger threat than he was tonight. But great to see Master of Hounds finally get his post-maiden win.
